And we're (actually, he's) off!

Dan just left for the airport a few hours ago (about 10:30 am), so he's probably waiting in line to check in as I type this post! We were lucky to have Dan's parents visiting for Memorial Day weekend. On their way back to Vero, they dropped Dan off at the Orlando airport. He'll be flying from Orlando to Newark, and then Newark to Paris. He should arrive in Paris at about 10:00 am Paris time on Tuesday, May 29 (that's 4:00 am Florida time). I included some links for you to check on his potential progress, just in case any of you are as obsessed with it as me!

Tells you Paris and Florida time (you can adjust for your own time zone)

Hi Dan! (and Meghan) :) I am so so excited for you, my friend. Definitely try not to sleep that first day that you get into paris, it's much easier to adjust to the time difference if you simply pass out at the end of the day. Eat some comte cheese and enjoy!

Thanks Leah. I made it for most of the day (passed out at about 6:30pm or so). I think I've got the jet lag thing done, though. I managed to sleep from 6:30pm to about 8:00am the next day. Yea, I was tired. But, it put me on a normal schedule again. I think I'm okay now. Good times!

Hey Dan,

I'm so glad you're there safe and sound. I had all kinds of conspiracy theories when Meg said you only wrote "We need to chat, soon!" That kind of brevity is just not like you, or, apparently, me! But now I am at peace knowing you are safely in Paris! Have a blast
